St. Vincent De Paul High School - 1961 - Sonoma County Library

Yours truly is assembling a photo gallery tracing the evolution of the athletic field at St. Vincent’s High School from its original groundbreaking in 1961 through the sparkling diamond receiving its final buffing in October 2009.  I just need three images to round it out and hope that PTownFan readers might be able to help with some pics from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.

The gallery will be one of many points of interest at the October 10th ribbon cutting and dedication during the first football game played in the new stadium.   I’ve reserved a poster frame for each of the above decades to display and event or activity taking place on the athletic field (the budget is tight).  We’ve already visited the museum and library and are scanning some yearbook photos but someone’s lovingly preserved original snapshot would be so-o-o much better.  If you would allow me to scan a pic of a pep rally, PE class, athletic team practice or some other event that took place on Kiely field between 1961 and 1990, please email me at PTownFan@comcast.net .  If I’m lucky enough to get more pics than I can use in the gallery itself, we have other ways that we can use them that day.  And I might just make a slideshow for P360 so we can all take a trip down memory lane.
