707’s Bruntlett sticks with it… and makes history

Santa Rosa’s Eric Bruntlett is the Phillies’ utility infielder.  He’s been flying under the radar this season, batting just .128 going into yesterday’s game against the Mets.  Man, did he ever pop out of stealth mode, notching only the second unassisted triple play to end a game in MLB history.  Immediately after two botched defensive plays in the 9th.  That is what I call stickin’ with it.
